Shirt Company makes a special effort to preserve and improve the environment and refrain from adding to pollution. We have installed a Reverse Osmosis System for waste water recycling at Together Textile Mills in Coimbatore, and an Effluent Plant for waste purification at all our
garment manufacturing units.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is the finest filtration known. It removes virtually all organic compounds and 90 to 99% of all ions, and the water obtained can then be reused in industrial processes. At Together Textile Mills, RO is used to purify water and remove salts and other impurities. This in turn removes the colour, taste or properties of the fluid, which makes it safe to reuse. Water purified with RO meets the most demanding specifications that are currently in place.
Our Effluent Treatment Plants treat laundry waste water at each of our garment manufacturing units. The process enhances waste reduction and treats industrial ef fluent. The resulting water provides low cost wet land irrigation to the sur rounding areas. The sludge is used in the making of slabs and bricks that can be used in walkways, parking areas and gardens.
